Uncontested divorce paperworkUncontested Divorce Paperwork – Typed Right, Flat Fee, Local
I’m Jon Rexford. I’ve been a notary on the Treasure Coast for years, and I type divorce paperwork for people who already agree and just want it done right. You tell me the facts. I type them into the official Florida forms. You check, sign, and file under your own name.
Scope
Read this first – what I do and don’t do
- Uncontested divorces only. You and your spouse already agree on everything.
- I type Florida Supreme Court-approved forms only. No custom documents.
- You choose every form and make every decision. I fill in the blanks with the facts you give me.
- I give no advice on retirement accounts, pensions, QDROs, or Social Security. Or on anything else legal.
- I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice. (Rule 10-2.2, Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.)
If that’s what you need, keep reading. If you’re looking for someone to tell you what to do, I’m not the right fit, and I’d rather tell you now than take your money.

Court filing fees are separate and paid by you directly to the Clerk — about $408 in Indian River County, and about $408–$409 in most Florida counties (plus any card/e-portal fee). Fee-waiver (civil indigency) help is available as a note on your filing checklist. Jonathan never holds your court money.
Mobile notary add-on: in-person mobile signing/notarization is available as a separate add-on (travel fee + $10 per stamp; see Pricing), depending on the area. Package typing fees above do not include the notary travel add-on unless quoted otherwise.
Six clear steps
1. Pick your package
Fill out the intake form for your package. It asks only for facts.
2. Sign the disclosure
Florida requires a written disclosure (Form 12.900(a)) before any form help. You’ll also sign a Client Scope Acknowledgment.
3. Pay the deposit
50% to start. Balance before the signing appointment.
4. I type your forms
From what you wrote down. You get a draft to review.
5. We meet (optional mobile)
You check everything and sign. In-person mobile notarization is available as an add-on.
6. You file
I give you your county’s filing checklist & status reminders. You file under your own name.
Choose your intake form
Email or call to start. I’ll send you the intake form for your package.
- Simplified Dissolution → Email to request the Simplified intake form or call/text 772-321-2290
- No children → Email to request the no-children intake form or call/text 772-321-2290
- With children / children + property → Email to request the children intake form or call/text 772-321-2290

Not sure which form fits? The intake questions are factual — how many kids, whether you own property together, whether your spouse will sign. The answers point to the package. I can’t choose for you, but the Clerk’s self-help center and the official form instructions on flcourts.gov explain each form.
This is NOT for you if…
- You and your spouse disagree about anything — property, debts, kids, support.
- You want someone to tell you what’s fair, what to ask for, or how to split a retirement account.
- There’s a domestic-violence injunction between you, or you don’t feel safe.
- You need a custom document the Florida Supreme Court hasn’t approved.
Straight answers
- Are you a lawyer?
- No. I’m a nonlawyer document preparer and Florida notary, not an attorney. I can’t give legal advice.
- How long does it take?
- I can usually have your draft ready within a week of getting your complete intake. After you file, Florida law requires at least 20 days before a final judgment, and the Indian River Clerk says to expect about 90 days for an uncontested case. Publication adds time.
- Do I have to go to court?
- It depends on your county and judge. Your instruction sheet tells you what your county’s current practice is.
- Can you file it for me?
- No. You file it yourself, at the Clerk’s counter or on the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal. I’ll tell you how.
