PackageSimplified Divorce – The Quickest Florida Path, If You Qualify
$295 Flat fee · 50% deposit, balance before signing
Florida’s Simplified Dissolution is built for couples who agree on everything and want the shortest route. Both of you sign together and both of you go to the final hearing.
Scope
Read this first – what I do and don’t do
- Uncontested divorces only. You and your spouse already agree on everything.
- I type Florida Supreme Court-approved forms only. No custom documents.
- You choose every form and make every decision. I fill in the blanks with the facts you give me.
- I give no advice on retirement accounts, pensions, QDROs, or Social Security. Or on anything else legal.
- I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice. (Rule 10-2.2, Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.)
If that’s what you need, keep reading. If you’re looking for someone to tell you what to do, I’m not the right fit, and I’d rather tell you now than take your money.
Court filing fees are separate and paid by you directly to the Clerk — about $408 in Indian River County, and about $408–$409 in most Florida counties (plus any card/e-portal fee). Fee-waiver (civil indigency) help is available as a note on your filing checklist. Jonathan never holds your court money.
Mobile notary add-on: in-person mobile signing/notarization is available as a separate add-on (travel fee + $10 per stamp; see Pricing), depending on the area. Package typing fees above do not include the notary travel add-on unless quoted otherwise.
Who the Florida form says can use it
According to the instructions for Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Form 12.901(a), generally:
- No minor or dependent children together, no children born during the marriage, and the wife isn’t pregnant
- At least one of you has lived in Florida for 6 months before filing
- You both agree the marriage is irretrievably broken
- You both agree on how to divide property and debts
- Neither of you is asking for alimony
- You both give up the right to trial and appeal, sign the petition, and both go to the final hearing
Read the form instructions yourself at flcourts.gov and decide whether it fits. I can’t make that call for you. If it doesn’t fit, one of the regular packages probably matches your facts.
From your facts
- Petition for Simplified Dissolution of Marriage – 12.901(a)
- Marital Settlement Agreement for Simplified Dissolution – 12.902(f)(3)
- Financial affidavits, or the joint waiver if you both choose it
- Final Judgment of Simplified Dissolution (for the judge to sign)
- Your county’s filing checklist & status reminders
One joint appointment works well for this package. I can come to you — home, office, coffee shop, wherever is private enough — for an in-person mobile signing add-on. You both review, sign, and I notarize what needs notarizing. Then you file.
